Facebook's stock has been taking off recently, going above its IPO price.  Now, in order to keep up the pace and satisfy investors, the company must continue its growth.  Many see mobile advertising revenue to be a key part of Facebook's revenue for the foreseeable future.  The company will be helped out by advertising on Instagram by many big companies, including Levi's, Lexus, and Adidas.  RBC Capital Markets Analyst Mark Mahaney wrote that advertising on Instagram has the ability to generate $1.7 billion in revenue in 2015.  More impressive is that, according to Mahaney, that this figure would be only 13% of Facebook's revenue.  If Mahaney is right, then Facebook will continue to be highly invested in for a while.
